Milwaukee Rechargeable Lighting Solutions

Milwaukees Lighting Solutions

Milwaukee is now focused on offering a range of highly portable lighting solutions that can be carried, worn, and attached by contractors who need quick access to light.

A few of our favorites from this new line-up of lighting includes:

  1. 700L Flashlight
  2. Hard Hat Headlamp
  3. Pocket Flood Light

All three of the Milwaukee rechargeable lighting solutions are powered  by REDLITHIUM® USB – an extremely compact, removable battery technology.

REDLITHIUM USB Battery – ‘the Secret Sauce”

This battery is capable of being charged either in the light itself, or in  a separate charger, and with a 3X faster charge time.

This battery was designed to provide 2,000 recharges in its lifetime, which allows you to eliminate the need to locate, purchase and use multiple disposable batteries.

True Color Representation

All three light solutions provide a clear, bright light that Milwaukee calls TRUEVIEW™ High Definition Light. TrueView produces a high definition light output with true color representation which is useful to electricians when working with colored wires.

Milwaukee USB Rechargeable 700L Flashlight Model 2110-21

The USB Rechargeable 700L Flashlight delivers 700 lumens of easily adapts from a spot-to-flood light by sliding the lights bezel adjustment, forward or back.

From spot to flood, the light output was consistent and had no dark rings typically associated with focusing flashlights. The spot beam pattern provides up to 610 feet of bright focus spot lighting and produces a the flood light allows you to see a broader area for added peripheral vision and worked well.

This light will reset to high reach time you activate the switch, providing you do not cycle the switch rapidly. Having the same flashlight beam setting is important to me, and having it set consistently on the same pattern every time you hit that switch was a nice feature . A rapid cycle of the switch will cycle through the different light outputs.

It has three (3) output modes with the following specifics:

  • High     – 700 lumens and will run 4.5 hours with a 155 meter beam
  • Low      – 100 lumens and will run 16 hours with a 58 meter beam
  • Strobe  – 700 lumens and will run for 9 hours

The Flashlight’s body and lens is constructed of impact and chemical resistant aircraft aluminum, and has a IP67 rating it is dust proof and can be submersed in up to 1 meter of water. It measures 6.65 inches, weighs .50 lbs with the battery and sells for $69.99 online which is a bit steep, but it is a well-made light.

This flashlight has a 2-inch long, very strong pocket clip to clip the light into your pants, jacket to tool belt. Includes: 700L Flashlight, USB Battery, 24″ Micro-USB cable.

Rechargeable Hard Hat Headlamp 2111-12

The USB Rechargeable Hard Hat Headlamp features a rubber, slip-resistant strap and clips for easy attachment and a secure hold onto your hard hat.

This light has five (5) light output modes for optimal brightness and run-time including a Spot Flood Mode for a wider view of the surrounding area and to assist in viewing issues from far away.

The light can be maneuvered in (7) different positions and features 216° tilting motion. the light has a durable IP54 rating for water and dust protection. The strap on the headlamp is easy to adjust and hold secure.

Lumen Output

  • Spot/Flood: 475 Lumen with a 2 hour runtime
  • Flood High: 300 Lumen with 4.5 hours of runtime
  • Flood Medium: 150 Lumen with 8.5 hours of runtime
  • Flood Low: 25 Lumen with 31 hours of runtime
  • Spot: 300Lumen with 4 hours of runtime

The headlamp weighs .37 lbs. w/ Battery and includes a head strap, hard hat clips, REDLITHIUM® USB Battery, and a 24″ Micro-USB cable.

ROVER Rechargeable Pocket Floodlight 2111-21

The ROVER pocket light is a versatile light that can be held, attached with its built in magnet of clipped on your shirt. It charges via a micro USB cord.

The ROVER pocket light features two (2) light output modes

  • High: 445 Lumen with 2 hours of runtime
  • Low:  100 Lumen with 11 hours of runtime

The ROVER is IP54 rated which means it is impact and chemical resistant can well as inclement weather and is dust proof. The ROVER measures 5.98 inches, weighs .36 lbs with the battery and sells for $59.99.

The magnet on the ROVER is strong and I found it useful and reliable. The clip on the ROVER is short and recessed [probably to protect it from damage] and I wound it difficult o clip on my pant pocket without using two hands. It would not fit on my tool belt pockets at all.

Includes:

  • USB Rechargeable ROVER™ Pocket Flood Light,
  • REDLITHIUM® USB Battery,
  • Micro-USB cable

It does not come with a outlet block, which is a bummer.
