MAKITA Expands 12V max Lithium-Ion – 3/8” Impact Wrench

New Cordless 3/8” Impact Wrench Ideal for Automotive Technicians, Installers, and More

La Mirada, Calif. – Makita, a worldwide manufacturer of technologically advanced power tools that are more compact with less weight yet deliver industrial strength power and results, has added to its groundbreaking line of cordless power tools with an addition to the 12V max Lithium-Ion Cordless platform. The new 12V max Lithium-Ion Cordless 3/8” Impact Wrench (model WT01W) is engineered with 1,000 in.lbs. of Max Torque in an ultra compact size that weighs only 2.1 lbs. The new impact wrench is also available with the 12V max 3/8” driver-drill in a 3-piece combo kit (LCT309W).

The new WT01W is powered by a Makita-built motor with variable speed (0-2,300 RPM and 0-3,000 IPM) for a range of fastening applications. The WT01W is engineered with Makita’s proprietary hammer and anvil, which is made using the highest quality steel and heat hardened to last longer for the most demanding applications. The ultra compact design is only 6-3/8” long and weighs only 2.1 lbs. for reduced operator fatigue. Additional ease-of-use features include a built-in L.E.D. light to illuminate the work area. The ergonomic shape fits like a glove with even pressure and easy control, and the soft grip handle provides increased comfort on the job for all-day use.

The new WT01W is the latest addition to Makita’s 12V max Lithium-Ion cordless line-up. Makita has engineered the new 12V max Lithium-Ion to be fully compatible with previously released Makita 10.8V Lithium-Ion cordless solutions already available, including driver-drills as well as an impact driver, circular saw, L.E.D. Flashlight, and vacuum. Similar to the rest of Makita’s groundbreaking Lithium-Ion battery technology, the 12V max Lithium-Ion battery is charged on an ENERGY STAR qualified charger for maximum efficiency.

Available as a Kit or in a 3-Piece Combo Kit

The new 12V max Lithium-Ion 3/8” Impact Wrench is available in a kit (WT01W) and includes the Impact Wrench, two 12V max Lithium-Ion Batteries, Charger, and Tool Case. It is also available in a 12V max Lithium-Ion 3-piece Combo Kit (LCT309W), which includes the 3/8” Impact Wrench (WT01), the 3/8” Driver-Drill (FD02), L.E.D. Flashlight (LM01), two 12V max Lithium-Ion Batteries, Charger, and Tool Case.
