The ability to use a Festool cordless tool and automatically turn on a connected Festool CT vacuum has now become a reality. Festool now has few bluetooth options for their users. Festool Bluetooth Remote Control is now available with an equipped vacuum or a retrofitted receiver, in two options:

  1. Via remote control
  2. Via bluetooth batteries

Retrofit Cost

The best part is you do not have to buy a new vacuum to enjoy this feature. Festool is offering a bluetooth module receiver and transmitter that you can purchase for approximately $100.00 and retrofit existing CT dust extractor.

Festool Bluetooth Module Receiver

The Bluetooth receiver connects to your Festool CT dust extractor’s accessory module port, and the transmitter can be attached at the top of your hose. This receiver retrofits in the following CT Vacuums:

  • Festool CT 26
  • Festool CT 36
  • Festool CT 48

NOTE: This module is not compatible with the discontinued CT 22 and CT 33 models.

Festool Bluetooth Batteries

The Bluetooth module on the mobile dust extractor communicates with the Festool’s NEW Bluetooth battery packs, in addition to the new remote control. These battery packs ensure that even a cordless tool starts the mobile dust extractor automatically when switched on.

The Bluetooth remote control on the extractor hose saves you a trip to the extractor for cordless without Bluetooth batteries, and for cleaning up and  floor sweeping.

The Bluetooth remote control operates by pressing a remote control attached to the hose end. This set up is perfect small, occasional cleaning tasks can be accomplished without changing the vacuum setting from AUTO to MAN mode.

The remote control uses a CR2032 button cell battery, which is included. Up to five remote controls can be paired with one vacuum. Individually the remote controls will cost approximately $45.00
