The folks at  Snap-on® just introduced a 16 build LED Hybrid work light and flashlight that is water resistant.

The beauty of using LED’s bulbs vs. incandescent bulbs is that they run cooler, are cool to the touch and less likely to break or damage from a drop.

The tubular-shaped Snap-On LED Hybrid Light has a high-impact tube lens, a rubber molded comfort grip and a magnetic base and  a durable anodized aluminum handle and cap.

The Snap-On light has a flashlight on one end and the LED work lamp lens on the other.

Snap-on LED Hybrid Light

  •  Tough anodized aluminum handle and cap
  •  16 LED and 1W LED flashlight head
  •  High impact tube lens
  •  Rubber molded grip
  •  Magnetic base
  •  Water resistant
  •  3 AAA Batteries included

Three AAA cell batteries are included. The Snap-on LED Hybrid Light sells for $9.99 (Model #92421)  at PepBoys’ stores (NOT available at snap-on.com).

a 360 degree light is not so good. under a car it will shine straight in your eyes. this needs a reflective shield on one side …so it doesnt blind you .. so to speak

    1. You absolutely correct. That was a typo that I just corrected – thanks for bringing it to our attention! RR

  2. Can you send instruction manual for install of batteries and service

    1. Todd Fratzel

We don’t have that information…you’d have to contact the manufacturer.

Turn off the end furthest away from the light. Inside there is a 1/4 cap that will reveal the battery compartment. And for$10 there is no service. Throw it away and Buy a new one.
