Rockler Introduces 3-Piece Silicone Glue Application Kit

Set of Three Silicone Glue Tools Is Easy To Clean and Re-use

MEDINA, MN (August 28, 2012) – Rockler has just introduced the 3-Piece Silicone Glue Application Kit, a brush, spreader and tray set made of flexible silicone material that make the tools easy to clean and re-use. The silicone rinses clean of wet glue with warm water, and dried glue simply cracks and peels off, leaving the tools in like-new condition. The 3-Piece Silicone Glue Kit is useful in a wide variety of glue application tasks, from joinery to edging as well as projects requiring glue spread over
a broader surface area.

“The 3-Piece Silicone Glue Application Kit is the last set of glue tools you’ll ever need to buy,” said Steve Krohmer, Vice President of Product Development. “The brush, spreader, and tray are so convenient for application, cleanup, and storage. They are just as good on the 50th use as on the first!”

Each 3-Piece Silicone Glue Application Kit includes a silicone glue brush, spreader and tray. The brush is 7″ long and features the brush on one end with flexible silicone bristles and a tapered paddle on the opposite end for detail work. The spreader is 21/2″ tall x 4″ long, just the right size to spread glue over larger surface areas, and a tray, 3″ wide x 51/2″ long, which is designed to compliment the brush and spreader dimensions as well as provide the user with a convenient alternative to leaving
the glue bottle or tube open while in use.

The 3-Piece Silicone Glue Application Kit (43662) retails for $14.99 and is available at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware stores nationwide, Rockler independent resellers, Rockler.com, or in the Rockler catalog. Could have used this yesterday. The cardboard scraps just doesn’t cut it sometimes for spreading glue evenly over a large surface. I would like to see them release a glue roller too that would easily peel.
