DEWALT ICC Code Reference Guides for Pros

Delmar and DEWALT Release Revised ICC Code Reference Guides for Building and Plumbing Professionals

The folks at Delmar, part of Cengage Learning and a well known provider of learning solutions for professional development has partnered with the folks at DEWALT to revise a series of ICC code reference books for professionals.

The DEWALT ICC Code Reference Guides for Pros are based on the International Plumbing and International Residential Code as well as the most  recent codes established by the International Code Council (ICC), these books help professional contractors solve problems, get reliable information and and comply with their respective trade related code requirements.  I look at these books as insurance to help me stay in compliance with the building codes.

Full color, quality illustrations printed on durable, tear-resistant and water/oil resistant pages that is held together with a heavy-duty spiral binding provide that trusted “double check”  that we all sometimes need without having to leave the job site.

In the remodeling field there are so many things to remember, I’m not ashamed to admit that I can’t remember all of the codes so as long as I can look them up that’s all that matters.  You know what I mean we all have something that eludes us… stuff like framing notching requirements always seems to escape me.

So far I have found the materials in these quick references to be presented in a clear and concise manor and easy to search.  The books are a compact 5”x8” size, and will easily fit in your truck’s glove box or tool boxes.

The DEWALT ICC Code Reference Guides for Pros has several series:

  • DEWALT® Code Reference Series, 2nd Edition
  • DEWALT® Building Code Reference, 2nd Edition
  • DEWALT® Plumbing Code Reference, 2nd Edition
  • DEWALT® HVAC Code Reference: Based on the International Mechanical Code
  • DEWALT® Electrical Code Reference: Based on the National Electrical Code.

The 5×8 form factor lends itself really well to tablets too. One of these days book publishers will have e-books of everything in print.
