DEWALT 18 Volt Impact Wrench
DEWALT®18 Volt Tools ½-Inch High-Torque NiCd Impact Wrench with Hog Ring Anvil, Model DW059HK-2
DEWALT just released a new 18 volt XRP™ Impact Wrench with a Hog Ring Anvil. A Hog Ring holds the socket by friction or by snapping into indents machined into the socket, locking the socket on. The DW059HK-2 is specifically designed to withstand high-torque applications commonly performed by professionals including remodelers, automotive users, mechanical contractors, plumbers and maintenance professionals. This new 18 volt impact wrench delivers 300 ft./lbs. of maximum torque, 2,600 impacts per minute (IMP) and 1,650 revolutions per minute (RPM).
The impact mechanism on the product directs torque to the fastener without kickback, while the addition of the hog ring anvil allows for easy socket change.
The DW059HK-2 has a heavy duty magnesium gear case and all metal transmission, plus a rubber over mold handle grip for comfort.
The DW059HK-2, which includes a one-hour charger, two 18 volt XRP NiCd batteries and a kit box, is expected to retail for approximately $299.00. This tool is also sold as a bare version without a battery, and is expected to retail for approximately $159.00.
