Bosch Introduces New 18 Volt Compact Radio – PB180
Bosch Keeps Even the Noisiest Jobsites Rocking
Jobsite radios continue to be solid performer for all tool brands and they are being updated on a regular basis. This time it’s Bosch’s turn to release another new radio that looks like the big brother of the PB120 that was released earlier this year.
Mt. Prospect, Ill., July 16, 2013 – Bosch Power Tools is expanding its lineup of portable, jobsite radios with the addition of the PB180 18-volt lithium-ion compact radio. Ideal for busy, noise-filled construction sites or work areas, the PB180 offers users best-in-class sound, portability and durability regardless of working conditions.
Weighing in at 2.8 pounds, the PB180 is lightweight and compact, boasting two full days of run time with a 4 amp-hour battery (sold separately). Its compatibility with the Bosch L-Boxx-2 Click & Go™ storage and organization system makes storage and transport of the radio quick and easy while its rugged, shock-absorbing roll cage enhances durability.
The PB180’s two, 5-watt neodymium speakers can deliver hours of maximum sound clarity and quality. And advanced digital signal processing and tuning, including a 7-inch antenna, ensures quality signals from both AM and FM stations with up to 10 station presets available. Users can also tap into their own digital media collection with an auxiliary input located on the back of the radio.
An optional AC adapter (sold with the PB180) offers power flexibility if a battery is not available. Two screw mount slots give users the option to mount the radio directly to a wall, freeing up important floor and shelf space. A backlit display with fuel gauge allows for increased visibility and lets users know when the battery needs to be charged (charger sold separately).
The PB180 is available now through authorized dealers nationwide and retails for a suggested price of $99. To find out more about the new technology or locate a dealer, visit www.boschtools.com or call 877-BOSCH-99.
