Milwaukee AIR-TIP Vacuum Accessories

Milwaukee AIR-Tip End of the Hose Solutions

Milwaukee just released 19 innovative AIR-TIP vacuum accessories that are fully compatible with other wet/dry vacuum brands.

They looked at some dated accessory designs, looked at end-user field modifications, and came up with 19 innovative, problem-solving – end of the hose solutions. All the Milwaukee Air-Tip vacuum accessories have a nozzle that is compatible with other wet/dry vacuum brands with 1-1/4″, 1-7/8″, 2-1/2″ diameters. Also pictured below are Milwaukee’s new M18 cordless wet/dry vacuums. We also had a chance to preview those and the article can be found here.

Let’s look at the more notable ones.

M12 AIR-TIP Utility Nozzle $79.99

Powered by an M12 battery, the power brush roll agitates debris for carpet cleaning applications. An LED light for increased visibility while cleaning, and the brush roller easily removes tool-free for cleaning.

MILWAUKEE® M12™ AIR-TIP™ Utility Nozzle

AIR-TIP Dust collector $49.99

The dust collector has a rubber seal and used the suction of the vacuum to attach to a wall, ceiling, or other substrates for collecting falling dust. I can see myself using this one, as it frees up your other hand. In the past, I’ve done everything from using a box, taping folded paper, or holding a vac nozzle under a cutting tool.

The tool has a funnel design, and the vacuum suction draws it in, this accessory will make your clean-up easier.

AIR-TIP Magnetic Utility Nozzle $29.99

This nozzle is one of those, why didn’t I think of that…. Or maybe I did!

It features a magnetic strip above the nozzle to pick up metal debris, that often does not get picked up by vacuums, and when it does it can sometimes damage the bags and filters.

AIR-TIP Cross Brush Tool  $ 17.99

This crush tool has a crisscross bristle design with more open space for suction. It was designed with cross brush bristles to prevent clogging and provide easier clean-up compared to the traditional round dust brush.

While this brush absolutely works better than the traditional brush, I just don’t see myself using my brush nozzle on heavy debris. I only take out my brush nozzle on punch list clean-up when I’m cleaning fine dust of cabinets, window mullions, HVAC grills, or base moldings. Maybe you disagree- we all clean differently.

AIR-TIP Low-Profile Pivoting Brush $29.99

The pivoting design and low-profile head are easily adjusted into position and allow multiple orientations of cleaning overhead, waist-level, or down low and underthings. After using this tool, I think Milwaukee should have made it longer for reaching under appliances and fully reaching the backs of wall cabinets.

AIR-TIP Rotating Corner Brush Tool – $19.99

I liked this one and can see using it when finishing a kitchen cabinet install vacuuming the cabinets. The rotating brush easily goes into corners with its spade-shaped tip and its agitating brushes allow you to easily remove debris in stubborn corners. The head rotates 360-degree when pushing or pulling.

AIR-TIP Conduit Line Puller Kit – $79.00

Ok all jokes aside, I like this!

Designed for electricians to seal multiple conduit sizes for strong line-pulling suction. This conduit pull line kit includes three different tool heads:

  • Flexible design tip on 1/2″ – 1″ conduit
  • Flexible design tip for use on 1-1/4″ – 1-1/2″ conduit
  • 2″ – 4″ rigid conduit tip.

The rubber cone seal ensures strong fitment to pipes. The flexible design on the smaller conduit tips allows for tight area fitment inside boxes or panels.

AIR-TIP 4-in-1 Right Angle Cleaning Tool – $24.99

This 4-in-1 accessory has four different interchangeable tips for more cleaning versatility, including:

  • Short Crevice
  • Bottom-Opening, Brushed,
  • Long Crevice tips.

I wasn’t overly impressed with this accessory as I felt many of the other crevice tools could accomplish this tools task, and I see myself losing the small tips.

AIR-TIP Flexible Long Reach Crevice Tool  – $19.99

Here’s another I wish I thought of tools. The flexible long reach crevice tool is a winner.

It features a flexible rubber shaft design that can bend along the crevice tool to reach into difficult, awkward cleaning situations. The long crevice tool has a flexible shaft over 16 inches in length. This tool will find its way into my vacuum box.

AIR-TIP Pivoting Extension Wand – $24.99

This accessory has a pivoting 90-degree joint. For reaching overhead or below. The joint locks into place and ensures you can place additional 1-1/4″ vacuum accessories on the end of the extension wand. I can see some users wanting this and putting it to good use, as it gives you more reach options.

AIR-TIP Long Reach Flexible Micro Hose Set $39.99

Once again – another win for Milwaukee, and I see this being used by all the trades in so many ways. This kit comes with five interchangeable hose lengths and diameters for many hard-to-reach spaces. You can install a different hose tube based on your cleaning needs with a quick quarter turn. This vacuum hose kit includes:

  • 5/8″ x 2′ Flexible Hose,
  • 3/8″ x 2′ Semi-Ridged Tube,
  • 1/2″ x 1′ Flexible Hose,
  • 3/8″ X 1′ Flexible Hose,
  • 1/4″ X 1′ Flexible Hose,
  • storage case.

AIR-TIP 2-in-1 Utility Brush $19.99

This 20-in-1 crevice tool has a sliding brush with two brush options: stiff and soft. With a push of a button, this brush slides down for use, off for rotating the brushes or using the crevice tool, or up and locked in for storage.

AIR-TIP 3-IN-1 Crevice and Brush Tool $17.99

This 3-in-1 tool is nice!  Its reversible brush head and overall tool length make accessing and cleaning different and deep access locations. The reversible brush head has two sides, a long/soft bristle side for delicate cleaning and a short/stiff bristle side for more agitation.  Like the 2-in-1 tool the brushed slide up, down, or off.

Overall Impression

Overall, I was impressed with the innovation of some of these dated accessories. I’m thinking that many of these AIR-TIP accessories will help me, and you clean faster, get into hard-to-reach places, and upgrade our overall job site cleanup.
