Bosch Introduces Brand’s First Wet Tile and Stone Saw

TC10 Features Optimized Water Retention and Jobsite Tough Durability

Mount Prospect, Ill., June 14, 2012 – Bosch is entering the wet tile and stone saw market with its new TC10 10-Inch Wet Tile and Stone Saw, available nationwide this month. Featuring optimized water retention and jobsite tough durability, the saw is a must-have for general contractors, remodelers and light-commercial users looking for better cuts and less mess.

The TC10 is equipped with expanded rear and side extension water trays to prevent overspray and optimize water retention; while a rear over-spray deflector helps reduce upward overspray and keeps water within the tool. The tool’s integrated and removable main water tray is designed with a drain plug and designated pump retainer, which quickly slides out to drain water or clean.

The saw’s large, sliding, rubberized table work surface provides better work piece balance and control, especially when working with large dimension tile. The TC10 has a 24-inch rip and 18-inch diagonal cut capacity, and can power through materials including porcelain, marble, granite, slate and travertine tile thanks to a 1.5 HP and 4200 RPM motor. Using a quick-adjust edge guide or bevel adjustment, the tool can be easily positioned to pre-set 22.5-degree and 45-degree stops for repetitive and straight or angle cuts.

An adjustable head plunge allows users to tackle outlet and vent register cutouts comfortably, and a tool-free blade guard and arbor lock allow for quick and easy blade access and one-wrench blade changes.

With a durable cast aluminum base and arm, the TC10 is designed to withstand the toughest jobsite abuse. It is ideal for remodeling and light commercial applications in floor and wall tile and stone. Stainless steel rails and sealed ball bearing casters enable stable, smooth and consistent sliding table travel.

The TC10 comes with a number of attachments and accessories, including:

  • Edge guide
  • Auxiliary table
  • Rear/side extension water tray
  • Water pump
  • Blade wrench
  • Hex adjustment/assembly wrench
  • 10-inch diamond blade

Bosch is also introducing two compatible folding stands for easy jobsite transportation. The GTA10 Folding Leg Stand (sold with the TC10-07 or separately) and GTA10W Folding Stand with Wheels (available separately) both fold flat when not in use for quick and easy transport. The all steel construction stands feature tool-free saw set up and breakdown to avoid the need for extra hand tools. The GTA10 is weighs only 22 pounds and is easily transported with one hand. The GTA10W wheeled stand allows users to wheel the saw on and off the jobsite quickly and easily.

The TC10 retails for $999, while the TC10-07 (including GTA10 stand) retails for $1,049. Sold separately, the GTA10 retails for $119 and the GTA10W retails for $179. All are available now through authorized dealers nationwide. To find out more or to locate a dealer, visit www.boschtools.com or call 877-BOSCH-99.
