Getting portable, dependable lighting on a jobsite can sometimes be a challenge. For years we’ve kept a variety of halogen and incandescent lights in my trailer for this purpose. We are always finding ourselves in a basement, attic or crawlspace and they’re NEVER lighted!
The problem with using halogens was they run extremely hot and have cause burns and create a potential fire hazard. And our issue with incandescent bulbs, well they just plain suck. They blow out easily when bumped or dropped and always seems to break when needed the most.
